Annual BC Thanksgiving Food Drive Event for the Friends In Need Food Bank Maple Ridge
We are seeking volunteers to be a part of a meaningful, community-wide effort to support our local food banks during this year's annual BC Thanksgiving Food Drive event, happening September 14th to 19th, 2026. Your contributions to this event will greatly assist the members of our community who are currently facing food insecurity.
How it works:

Sign up for a route you would like assigned to you. You may select as many routes as you would like.

Select a date to pick up the food drive bags.

Anytime between September 14th and 17th, distribute one (1) food drive bag to each of the homes on your assigned route(s). The bag contains instructions for homeowners to follow.

On September 19th, return to your assigned route(s) between 9:15 am and 12:00 pm to collect donations left out by homeowners. Drop off the donations at 11750 207th Street by 1:00 pm.
Note: The food drive (points 3 and 4 above) will take approximately 1-4 hours to complete, depending on the number and type of homes on your assigned route(s).
